When you want to put your money to work I do recommend you to read Doug Casey at his Daily Crux texts.
But unfortunately this guy is very insentitive as one can read at his own text published at the above link.

There you see all he sees is money. He says to be buying land in Argentina where he plans to raise cattle and make fortunes paying U$250,00 a month to Gauchos. He does not consider that this industry is based on the killings of sensitive animals and exploitation of humans called Gauchos, the cowboys of Argentina and south o Brazil.

Then poverty will come and once installed, after a lot of environment destruction, politicians will come and tell the Gauchos that for such injustice it is deserved a revolution. This politicians might be leftists alike comunists, right wings alike Hitler or even politicians alike Peronists that have already once destroyed the economy of Argentina that once was a very rich nation. The same happened in Russia where the nobles exploited the commons for a long time until appeared Lenin, Stalin and others that killed millions to install comunism and after all the blood drained the Russians remained as poor as anyone can see.

Atlantic Forest

In the above picture we see a road through the Atlantic Forest in São Paulo, Brazil, going from Mogi das Cruzes to Bertioga. Bellow, a picture of this forest in Rio de Janeiro city.


At the East Coast of South America, in Brazil, there was a superb rain forest. Now we have only less than 7 percent remainig.
Our project looks at the conservation of this remaining area as well expanding it with our help.

Planting trees

Going further, there is a big urge for jobs as well there are many devastated and / or desertified areas around the globe.
Our basic idea is to stimulate common people as well institutions to develop planting activities. From the home owner who can have plants in his private garden, the one who has land and room for trees, to the big institutions that can develop large reforestation programs with native trees.

To plant a tree is a significant experience. We allow common people to come to our little piece of land and plant a tree. Here, the objective is to give people the oportunity to develop emotional links to the environment via planting at least a tree and becoming its godfather or godmother.

At the other extreme, we look forward developing bigger and bigger self sustained reforestation projects with native trees attending to the needs of air carbon control, green jobs , social integration, social justice, health, new living habits and so forth.
